Nigel Cabourn Spring Summer 08 is based on 'issue' clothing worn in the desert and tropical conditions by the British Forces. Inspiration comes from the 1942 Desert conflict between Rommel and Montgomery. The look is casual and easy to wear. Field jackets, shorts and bush shirts in desert colours feature prominently. Fabrics are key to the Cabourn concept and are always of the highest quality. For this collection, all are sourced from Japan. The quality means hard wearing, long lasting highly individual garments with visual appeal and value. Authenticity is created using original military zips and genuine Italian corozo horn buttons attached to the removable corozo shanks and heavily toned thread.
