Description

These are an exact replica of the 501's made in 1901. This is the first version of the jeans to feature a second back pocket. Take a trip back to the origin of denim wear and pick up this timeless classic.

Fabric

Heavyweight 14 oz dry, raw, deadstock Right-hand twill denim fabric, SHRINK TO FIT OR DONT WASH.
Plain Selvage (from Amoskeag mill, red selvage Cone mill denim is more common on Levi's vintage).

Fit and features

Comfort loose fit, very roomy top block, anti fit.
Cinch buckle back, no belt loops, brace buttons
NO red tab yet, that comes in 1936.
Exposed back pocket rivets and crotch rivet.
Single needle stitched arcuate, makes for cruder less manufactured look.
Leather waist patch.
