The organic cotton of Veja sneakers comes from Tauá a small village in North Brazil. 89 families live there from organic agriculture. Soles are made of wild rubber from the Amazon. Veja has developed ecological leather, used in the uppers. Ecological leather means chrome-free leather tanned with organic compounds only. Also available in white canvas.
